FURTHER investigations will be conducted in the case of Pastor James Thubakgale, accused of repeatedly raping three young members of his congregation in Seshego, Limpopo.

This was revealed yesterday by prosecutor Justice Mthombeni, in the Polokwane Magistrate's Court, where Thubakgale appeared.

Thubakgale, 50, is the founder of the Deliverance Church of Christ in Seshego.

He claims disgruntled congregants falsified the charges.

He is charged with raping a 14-year-old girl and repeatedly raping a 16-year-old and 20-year-old.

The case was postponed to April 19.
