Exams go on despite storm

THE Limpopo education department says examinations at a school in Polokwane will take place despite damage from a storm on Sunday night.

The storm blew the roof off two classrooms at Mamehlabe High School in GaMatlala village.

Department spokesman Pat Kgomo said yesterday other classrooms had not been affected by the storm.

"Exams at Mamehlabe High School will not stop because the school was hit by a storm. We are doing everything in our power to ensure the school continues to operate as normal while we look at ways to get it fixed."

He said the damage was "minimal".
