TALENTED: Chante Moore

THE one thing the select audience that attended the Chante Moore concert at the SABC on Sunday will remember most, aside from her beautiful voice, is the amount of water she guzzled after every song.

Moore had it all figured out. Her stage was set for seduction, with a purple chaise complete with water and champagne.

She later brought in a settee on which she proceeded to raise the temperature of one metrosexual from the audience.

The beauty of that scene is that the guy knew the song and sang along. At one stage he was talking to Moore, who sang a reprimand that he could not talk about but rather sing as he had been doing all along.

The sexy, seductive beautiful singer kept on whispering what she called were stories of her life that she preferred to sing rather than talk about.

Her repertoire was a mixture of old favourites and a couple of melancholic ones that suggested she recently had her heart broken. Though she did not elaborate it was obvious that her heart had taken a serious beating.

Other things that stood out were her outfits. The first was a short and pretty frock that gave you a glimpse of cleavage and a firm back. She changed into a long number that had a window to her cleavage besides speaking of elegance. The last outfit was a glitzy short with a pretty pink top.

This was the second SABC Intimate Night Concert . The first one happened a couple of weeks ago with Paul Simon.
