SEVEN suspected criminals have been killed in vigilante attacks in Eastern Cape in the past three weeks, police said yesterday.
In Flagstaff, three suspected thieves were killed and a fourth was seriously injured when residents of Ndimakude assaulted them, said Captain Ernest Sigobe.
At least 20 people had been arrested in connection with the crime and were expected to appear in the Flagstaff magistrate's court on July 12.
In Port Elizabeth, four people were killed "neck-lacing style" in separate incidents.
