THREE people were seriously injured when their hot air balloon landed too fast in a field in Hazyview, Mpumalanga, yesterday, Netcare 911 said.
Spokesperson Jeffrey Wicks said the hot air balloon was dragged for several metres.
The six people in the basket were thrown out.
They were treated and stabilised on the scene.
