Hijackers held

THREE men were arrested for a bakery truck hijacking in Dennilton yesterday morning, Limpopo police said.

Lieutenant Colonel Mohale Ramatseba said the men, aged 25, 27 and 34, allegedly hijacked the truck at 3.30am.

"Three people delivering bread to local shops were hijacked and then dumped in the bushes after being robbed," he said.

One of the hijackers then drove off in the truck, which was later recovered after they were arrested in the same village. The suspects were found in possession of two unlicensed 9mm pistols - with serial numbers filed off, 27 rounds of ammunition, two magazines, and five cellphones.
