A TEENAGER was arrested in Benoni yesterday for allegedly raping and murdering a four-year-old girl, Gauteng police said.
The girl died as a result of the rape, Captain Mack Mngomezulu said.
The girl was reported missing by her family early yesterday, and police set about searching for her. Police found the 17-year-old boy allegedly on top of the child at a vacant construction site near the girl's home.
He was due to appear in court soon.
