KWAITO bad boy Tokollo Tshabalala has escaped being prosecuted for petrol theft yesterday after he allegedly fled a service station without paying for a full tank of fuel.

Tokollo allegedly filled up his Ford with R603.10 worth of petrol late one night last September, and gave the pump attendant his card - but the transaction was declined. Tokollo then allegedly took his card and drove off. On Tuesday, he went back to the garage and offered to settle the bill. The garage owner then withdrew the charges.
