THE ANC has beefed up its communications department by appointing former Gauteng Economic Development Agency chief executive Keith Khoza.

ANC general secretary Gwede Mantashe said yesterday that Khoza had joined the party's communications department as manager. He replaces Steyn Speed, who is furthering his studies.

Khoza's brief is to improve management systems, strategies and communications coordination across provinces and with partners.
