KHANYI Mbau has won the first round against Theunis Crous by having him locked up yesterday for violating a protection order.

Police confirmed that Mbau's multi-millionaire ex-boyfriend Crous was locked up and would appear in court this morning.

The drama started in the early hours of Friday, when Crous arrived at The Bank nightclub in Rosebank, where Mbau was partying.

When he tried to talk to her, she got angry and tried to attack him. She later called the police.

On Monday morning Crous went to the Randburg magistrate's court to seek an order against Mbau, then on Monday night the drama queen went to Sandton police station to obtain a protection order against him.

Gauteng police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Lungelo Dlamini confirmed Crous' arrest yesterday afternoon. "He will appear in court this morning."

An angry Mbau told Sowetan that Crous violated the protection order by sending her an SMS. She refused to discuss the content of the SMS to her.

"No one is above the law. He violated a court order prohibiting him from contacting me.

"I do not know what this man wants. He has a protection order against me to leave him alone, which I have honoured.

"I want peace. I'm sick and tired of this old man and his drama. He must go to his wife."

Yesterday Crous denied he was arrested and languishing in a police cell.
