One of the organisers of the meeting, Zacharia "Computer" Lamola, said the gathering would take place at Diepkloof Hall, starting at 10am.
Lamola, the former Kaizer Chiefs star who worked as an analyst for SABC Sport during the World Cup, said they had invited amateur and professional players and coaches, administrators and citizens to the meeting.
South African Football Association deputy president Chief Mwelo Nonkonyana will deliver a keynote address, where he is expected to deal with the national team's performance.
Bafana Bafana became the first host team in the history of the World Cup not to qualify for the knockout stages.
"We are going to do a postmortem of the 2010 World Cup and we need to get to the bottom of our failure to qualify for the second round," Lamola said.
"It is disappointing that South Africa made history by becoming the first World Cup host team to bomb out in the first round. We have to start preparing for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations and 2014 World Cup."
