HUNDREDS of women in management positions are expected at Gallagher Estate in Midrand, Johannesburg, on Tuesday for a conference that promises to inspire women to lead with renewed strength.

Intelligence Transfer Centre (ITC), the organisers, says the conference will give women in leadership positions practical tips on how to manage daily challenges at the office.

This will include tips on how to lead with integrity and motivate those around you.

Last year the conference attracted more than 200 women in government and business. Speakers include Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, pictured, who will deliver the opening speech and Zukisa Faku, mayor of Buffalo City municipality.

Nozuko Ngozi of the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism and motivational speaker Andeline Williams-Pretorius are the other speakers.

Delegates will get a chance to relax and network during a fashion show. During this time, tips on how to dress to impress will be shared.

Women will also be encouraged to donate bras for a good cause. Organisers will collect bras for the Take IT Off campaign and the bras will be distributed in rural communities to women who cannot afford this necessity.

A mammography bus will also be available at the conference to encourage women to go for breast check-ups.
