The man's neighbour woke up early yesterday to the smell of smoke, and when he went outside to investigate he found that Loyiso Ngcoza's shack had burnt down with him inside, Warrant Officer Gerda Swart said.
Ngcoza had made a fire inside a drum on Monday night and placed it inside his shack. An inquest docket has been opened. - Sapa
