Netshidzivhe and Mashaba reunited at AmaTuks

CONTROVERSIAL midfielder Christopher "Matari" Netshidzivhe and Tebogo Mashaba have been reunited at National First Division club University of Pretoria, alias AmaTuks.

CONTROVERSIAL midfielder Christopher "Matari" Netshidzivhe and Tebogo Mashaba have been reunited at National First Division club University of Pretoria, alias AmaTuks.

The two players were teammates at Black Leopards while they were still campaigning in the Absa Premiership.

Netshidzivhe has penned a one-season deal with AmaTuks, while Mashaba has clinched a contract that will keep him at the team for two seasons.

Netshidzivhe is a seasoned campaigner but it seems his off-pitch shenanigans are hampering his career.

He was recently sent packing by Leopards' management, who were said to be gatvol of his wayward behaviour.

Mashaba is also a seasoned and skilful player who had a short stint with Orlando Pirates.

Mashaba has been snapped up from National First Division club Batau FC.

AmaTuks coach Steve Barker also confirmed the signing of forward Mzwandile Ndimande from Mhlambanyatsi Rovers of Swaziland and Laurence Phiri from Zambian side Green Buffaloes.

They have both signed with the club for one season.

"We are confident that these new players will add value to the team and help us gain promotion to the elite league next season," Barker said.

"The past season was difficult but I strongly believe that we will compete in the new season."

Meanwhile, Batau are believed to have signed Siphamandla Zaca from Nathi Lions and released Ntokozo Tshabalala to the relegated Jomo Cosmos.
