IN-FORM South African athlete Mbulaeni "Bullet" Mulaudzi, the world 800m king, is psyched up and keen to add another gold medal to his cabinet at the African Senior Track and Field Championships in Kenya.
The keenly awaited event will be staged in the capital Nairobi, from July 28.
"I have been doing well and the plan is to win another gold medal," said Mulaudzi, who won gold in at the World Championships in Germany in August last year.
Also included in the team bound for Nairobi and chosen by Athletics South Africa is long jumper Khotso "Crocodile" Mokoena, a close friend of Mulaudzi's.
"The best performers in Nairobi will be included in Team Africa at the Athletics World Cup in Croatia in September and I also want to be part of that team," Mulaudzi said.
The lanky Mokoena, who has recovered from an ankle injury, is also geared up to win in Kenya to be in the team to Croatia.
"Just like Bullet (Mulaudzi), I also want to win gold in Kenya and that's what I'm going for. I'm in the best of shape and looking forward to compete in Kenya," Mokoena said.
