THE Service Delivery Improvement Forum that seeks to support government service points at local level has been launched in Durban.

The forum will help to effectively and efficiently execute the mandate of government service points at local level.

Yesterday, representatives of the Tongaat and Verulam government service points and organised civil society structures, assembled to witness the launch.

They signed a pledge reaffirming that South Africa belonged to all who lived in it and to work together in to improve service delivery.

The forum was launched by Deputy Minister of Public Service and Administration Roy Padayachee.

The forum will help set a service delivery improvement agenda and provide support to development initiatives to service points.
