"As the skills are not always readily available in all communities, we have undertaken to provide contractors and labourers with the necessary training and support needed to carry out the tasks required."
An important element of Mafuri's construction projects is to open up opportunities for women, dispelling the myth that the construction industry is the sole reserve of men.
"We believe that women have been deliberately excluded from the construction industry and will do everything in our power to offer them opportunities at every level of the construction process," he says.
"Women bring a unique set of skills that can only benefit our projects."
