In 2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 7 we are taught that we Christians live by faith and not sight . There is an abundance of leaders of the Christian faith in South Africa. Despite this abundance, God chose mainly beer drinkers in the Afrikaner community to descend on Soweto during the Super 14 finals.
They visited clubs and shebeens during the rugby matches at Orlando Stadium and broke the backbone of township fear among the majority of our white compatriots.
It is mainly Afrikaner beer drinkers whose report back to the suburbs caused white folk to visit Soweto on the eve of the 2010 Fifa World Cup. It is white rugby fans with guts who paved the way for white soccer fans to our stadia.
God chose products of South African Breweries as opposed to products of Bible societies to cause blacks and whites to sing together . We serve a God of diversity, a mighty God . There are still miracles in our times.
