Molobe is director of the Last Hope Organisation, which looks after 420 orphans and abused children. They also look after the needs of disabled children.
The organisation, which is based in Joburg, raises funds for other homes and drop-in centres.
"The World Cup is here and everyone is feeling the football fever. But our disabled sector feels left out. We wish we could include them in this South African 'fever'," Molobe wrote.
Mama Angel answered with a bakkie load of goodies.
Molobe said a typical family in their care is a child-headed household with an older sibling in charge of a deaf, dumb and paralysed youngster.
"The older one has to look after a disabled child instead of playing with friends. She can't leave home for any reason because she is the only one caring for the child," Molobe said.
The Last Hope runs a soup kitchen for the children and organises excursions that are educational and exposes them to the wonders beyond their doors.
"We buy school uniforms and any items parents can't afford. Children lose their self-esteem if they are not dressed correctly and feel left out if they are not the same as other children," Molobe said.
