THE Fifa World Cup-inspired local super comedy show, Bafunny Bafunny: The Victory Tour, makes a triumphant return to Gauteng stages with even more thrills.

THE Fifa World Cup-inspired local super comedy show, Bafunny Bafunny: The Victory Tour, makes a triumphant return to Gauteng stages with even more thrills.

The show will be presented at the BigTop Arena in Carnival City, Brakpan, on July 9, just two days before the end of the World Cup.

The comedy show made its debut on the international stage when it kicked off at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Later the show headed for South Africa for a national tour, which was extremely successful.

The victory tour is staged to celebrate the Bafunny success and the amazing support from the fans.

"The response from fans has been overwhelming. We are extremely pleased with the results. That's why we have the revival of the show in the form of a 'victory tour," says creator Sam Hendrikse from Hunta Live.

Bafunny's lineup includes Mark Banks, Barry Hilton, Marc Lottering, Kagiso Lediga, Nik Rabinowitz, John Vlismas, Loyiso Gola and Trevor Noah.

Banks, also known as Markos Santanos Bankos, is regarded as dangerously funny.

He will be joined by comedian of the moment Trevor Noah, pictured. Noah's rise in the comedy field has been nothing short of meteoric.

Gola is another crowd favourite. He's had millions of viewers glued to his performances in The Pure Monate Show and the feature film Bunny Chow.

Born in Cape Town, Lottering is one of the hottest comics on offer in South Africa.

Tickets for this fabulous show range from R140 up to R200.
