Zozo lived life to the fullest

IT IS rare that when a person dies those left behind get overwhelmed by an acute sense of loss and sadness as well as a sense of pride.

IT IS rare that when a person dies those left behind get overwhelmed by an acute sense of loss and sadness as well as a sense of pride.

Yet this is how the family, relations and friends of Simphiwe Reginald Zozo feel about his passing.

Many lives are destined to be a lesson. Popularly known as "Uncle" or "Vyf", Zozo lived a hectic and fulfilled life.

He went on to Kagiso Senior Secondary School where he gained notoriety as the ruffian who disrupted soccer matches when his school was being mercilessly walloped by opposing schools.

He joined the second wave of the black consciousness movement in Kagiso as a member of Azapo's student wing, Azasm.

Zozo hated glamorisation of crime because he knew what life behind bars was like and would pity young boys as they " tsipa " their cars and endanger kids .

This jovial giant and socialite will be buried at Kagiso Cemetery tomorrow. The funeral service will start at 7am and the cortege will leave Kagisanong Hall, Kagiso One at 9am.
