Aucor's MD Shannon Winterstein says: "We've been invited to sell a number of highly sought-after cars and it's the ideal opportunity for buyers interested in acquiring outstanding vehicles that would otherwise have been beyond their reach."
There are several 2010 models for sale, which will allow buyers to drive virtually new cars at below retail prices, including a Jeep Grand Cherokee CRD Overland and a Landrover Discovery 4 TD HSE.
Winterstein says he anticipates competitive bidding on a number of other options: from the Volkswagen stable, a 2009 Scirocco 2.0 DSG will certainly be a winner as there is a waiting list for a new one, and a 2009 Golf 6 GTi DSG is also a great choice.
The auction will also feature an entry level 2008 BMW 130i and, pushing the envelope for the buyer who prefers something altogether more glamorous and sporty, there will be a 2010 Nissan Skyline GTR as well as a 2008 Aston Martin DB9.
For those who prefer more motoring muscle, there's a strong showing on the 4x4 and SUV side: a 2009 Range Rover Sport TD V8, a 2009 Mercedes-Benz ML320CDi, a 2007 Hummer H3 and a Jeep Wrangler Sahara, among others, to allow the Sandtonites to keep curb hopping.
Winterstein says there should be a selection of over 100 cars from several other brands for sale, ranging from sports cars, sedans and 4x4s from Mercedes-Benz, Audi and BMW.
