Parliament staffer dies

PARLIAMENT has lost one of its loyal and hard-working officials, Mzikayise Sydney Mbangula, who died on June 18.

Mbangula joined Parliament in 2002 as manager for the corporate services division.

He was born in Worcester in Western Cape on June 15 1959. He was a member of Umkhonto weSizwe. After the 1994 democratic elections he worked for government and the private sector in security, education and training, and in informationtechnology.

Heal will be buried on July 3 in Goodwood. He is survived by his wife, three children, his mother, two brothers and four sisters.
