The body of Njabulo Hlelo, 32, of Umbumbulu, was found by commuters near a railway station.

He had been travelling in a silver grey Toyota Tazz with three friends on the Folweni M35 when they were blocked by a VW Fox with four occupants on Sunday .

The two vehicles collided and came to a standstill. According to the driver, who was stabbed twice, the passengers of the Fox got out of the car and approached them carrying knives.

The driver told the police that after he was stabbed, he and the two other passengers ran away, while Hlelo remained in the car.
