Death penalty will bring down crime in SA

SOUTH Africans rejoice when criminals are arrested and jailed, but some criminals are not caught and others are given light sentences.

Since the arrival of the World Cup tourists crime has been a problem. Visitors, such as the Portuguese journalists, were robbed. They were held at gunpoint by two Zimbabweans and a Nigerian.

These criminals were arrested and appeared in court. We can blame our brothers from neighbouring countries, but South Africans also commit crime.

I honestly think crime will never stop and must bring back the death penalty. Then crime will decrease . South Africa is home to all and "working together, we can do more". Crime does not pay.
