Head of Operations at the KwaZulu-Natal Sharks Board Mike Anderson-Reade said although the sardines traditionally arrived in May and June it was not unusual for the fish to show up in July.

l THE sight of the charred remains of an infant trapped in a burnt car shocked paramedics while they were also trying to rescue two women in the same car.
According to Netcare 911 spokesperson Jeff Wicks the two women were lucky to be alive.
