Bafana has ended World Cup for SA

BAFANA Bafana played good football during their camps and against Mexico.

But what we saw against Uruguay was the useless Bafana Bafana we all know. We will be recorded in the Guinness Book of Records as the first host country to be kicked out in the first round of the World Cup.

Carlos Alberto Parreira must accept that Teko Modise, Aaron Mokoena and Steven Pienaar are playing rubbish .

Benni McCarthy must be the happiest "fat" man in the country.

Why did coach Parreira choose a 23-man squad and then not use Macbeth Sibaya and Siyabonga Nomvete?

During the Rugby World Cup there was no such hype as there is now yet the boys made us proud.

Bafana Bafana did not wear Amabokoboko jerseys before the World Cup.

Many companies spent money on Bafana jerseys, employees left work early to support the the team against Mexico, the government wasted millions of rands on tickets, the Football Fridays, Ayoba adverts, vuvuzelas, fake Bafana T-shirts and the flags on cars.

Really, we just have to unite one last time and buy Parreira a ticket back to Brazil. Or we might get news that his wife is sick. I won't even bother to watch the game against France.

Worse, they didn't even give Ivan Khoza the Safa presidency so he is unlikely to save us by sending SMSes to referees to save Bafana against France.

The World Cup has already ended for us, so we will just continue our lives with service delivery protests, stupid Julius Malema, Eishkom, the president 's wives and his 21 children.
