LEGENDARY boxer and former South African lightweight champion Gladstone "Homicide" Mahlo will be buried at Avalon Cemetery tomorrow at 11am.

LEGENDARY boxer and former South African lightweight champion Gladstone "Homicide" Mahlo will be buried at Avalon Cemetery tomorrow at 11am.

Mahlo, 75, one of the few black South Africans to fight outside these shores in the 1950s, died of natural causes on Monday.

His son Eric Mahlo Jr said the cortege will leave from home in Rockville for African Methodist Church in White City at 9am. Mahlo is survived by six children. - Sowetan Reporter
