Brigadier Phindile Radebe said: "He was about to enter the stadium when he collapsed. The man was declared dead by paramedics.
"We believe he died of a heart attack."
The man was entering the stadium with other people believed to be his relatives when he collapsed.
"We believe they were his relatives or friends because it was easy to identify him and to find out where he lived.
"It was just a natural death," Radebe said. - Sapa
