The Chrysler sedan, with Botswana registration plates, collided with a truck on the N4 just before 7am outside Rustenburg, spokesman Lesiba Moses Kgwele said in a statement.
The vehicle had apparently moved into the oncoming truck's lane.
"All three passengers in the sedan were burnt to ashes in the vehicle, which caught fire on impact. The driver of the truck was slightly injured and treated on the scene by paramedics."- Sapa
