TODAY is the last day to see Bafana Bafana before they take on Mexico in the World Cup opening match on Friday.

So if you are in Johannesburg, please make your way to Sandton to be part of the human chain to be formed around the Sandton Sun Hotel, where the team is staying for the duration of the World Cup.

From midday everyone is invited to stand shoulder-to-shoulder to show their support for the national team. The human chain will start and finish at the hotel, in what will be the ultimate send-off for Bafana Bafana.

The 23-man squad will travel along the route from 1pm to experience the support they have from all South Africans.

People who cannot be in Sandton are encouraged to blow their vuvuzelas at midday.

So wear your soccer jerseys and makarapas with pride. Blow your vuvuzela with conviction and support the team.

Entertainment lined up includes performances by Denim and Thembi Seete. You will also have a chance to show off your diski dance moves.

Several roads around the area will be closed, so please get there early. Let's give our boys a huge send-off to Soccer City for the opening game on Friday.
