Ronaldo's Portugal play a World Cup warm-up match against Mozambique at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. The encounter starts at 4.30pm.
Spokesperson for the organisers of this Bidvest Goodwill Cup and former Wits spokesperson Neil Jankelowitz yesterday announced that the match was sold out.
Jankelowitz said security at the stadium would be tight to avoid a repeat of the ugly incident in which 15 people were injured during a stampede when Nigeria played North Korea on Sunday.
"After the events in Tembisa on Sunday we have made the decision to beef up security for this game. Tickets were sold out this morning (yesterday)," Jankelowitz said.
"We appeal to all the people who do not have tickets not to come close to the stadium.
"This is a Goodwill Cup that has been created to enhance the spirit of the beautiful game, so we ask you not to come to the stadium unless you have purchased a ticket."
Jankelowitz said the game would be televised live on SuperSport3.
"I am happy the match will be broadcast to a number of European countries as well."
Gates open at 2pm.
Portugal, who are guided by former Bafana Bafana coach Carlos Queiroz, start their World Cup campaign against Ivory Coast in Polokwane on June 15.
The Mozambique-born Queiroz has roped in Wits coach Roger de Sa to serve as one of his assistants. De Sa served as Bafana's goalkeeper trainer during Queiroz's tenure.
Five-time world champions Brazil and North Korea are in the same group with Portugal and the Didier Drogba-led Ivory Coast.
In Nelspruit tomorrow, Chile have secured a friendly match against New Zealand at KaNyamazane Stadium.
