The three members, including Mopani region league chairmanThomas Makondo, his deputy, Sello Mononela and regional executive committee member Ivy N'wandzule were served with letters of suspension last Thursday.
They will be expected to appear before a disciplinary committee at Frans Mohlala House in Polokwane on June 15.
Their suspension is allegedly linked to their having "intentionally and deliberately" assisted in the organisation of an illegal Giyani sub-region of the league despite warning by the provincial executive committee not to continue with the conference.
They were suspended with immediate effect and barred from all the activities of the organisation.
Sowetan is in possession of a copy of the letter of suspension the three league members received. It was signed by the league's appointed disciplinary chair, Thabo Magabe, last Thursday.
Approached for comment ANCYL provincial secretary, Jacob Lebogo, said they were not in a position to divulge further information with regard to the suspension.
But Lebogo explained that there were other internal matters related to the suspension of the three members that they were still working on.
According to the suspension letters members were given an opportunity to appoint their own representatives, who should be a fellow member of the league in good standing.
