BRAZIL'S World Cup crusade will start in earnest today with a friendly on African soil against Zimbabwe.

The world's No1-ranked team and favourites to win the 2010 World Cup will be up against 110th-ranked Zimbabwe's Warriors in Harare.

Zimbabwe are set to become only the fifth team from the continent to face the South Americans since 1980.

Only Cameroon, Egypt, Nigeria and South Africa have played Brazil in any official form of the game since Zimbabwe attained independence in 1980.

The match will be broadcast on SS3 from 3.30pm . - Sowetan Reporter
