Now, almost midway into the year, an official in a suit has the gumption to say "We Wuz Wrong" - they did not cheat.
The best these kids can do is start university only next year while the bureaucracy that messed up a whole year of their schooling will get off with not so much as a slap on the wrist.
One child, who had planned to study at Wits University, even contemplated suicide.
Shouldn't those who make such crucial decisions, at the very least, run the rule over their determinations?
