The crash occurred at about 4pm on Saturday on Commissioner Road in Boksburg, Ekurhuleni, police spokesperson Kobeli Mokheseng said.
It is thought that the blue Mazda 323 overturned as it went around a corner, flinging one of the passengers out of the car, Mokheseng said.
"A 25-year-old male passenger was certified dead on the scene by parame-dics and three male passengers between the ages of 20 and 25 were rushed to the Tambo Memorial Hospital for medical treatment due to the serious injuries they suffered." - Sapa
