FOR the first time this year Aucor will holding an aviation auction, with a large range of planes falling under the auction hammer.

Aucor's Darren Winterstein says more than 20 bank-repossessed planes must be sold.

"Aucor is well-versed in aircraft auctions but we have yet to find such a diverse selection of aircraft on offer that will appeal to all aviation enthusiasts."

There is a virtually new Robinson R44 Raven II helicopter with less than 80 hours flying time, a Cessna 208B, a Learjet 24B, four King Air 200s and two 1900Ds. The auction starts at 10:30 on June 3 at Lanseria Airport with viewing the day prior to auction.
