To refresh your memories, Melrose was Khanyi Mbua's backyard and her daughter's playground before things went sour and her husband preferred the Formula 1. We don't think it was a preference though.
The hotel is indeed nice and the decor is to die for, with loads of sexy areas where one can meet for business or pleasure.
Because the do lacked celebs, which makes my job more difficult, we went to The Venue where Danny K was launching his latest offering titled Across_The_Line.
We had drama with the PR door lady but got in thanks to Papa K, who jumped to my rescue.
The venue was packed to capacity with a fabulous crowd, from rich whites and black fans to all types of gays, from Gert Johan sort to the up-class gays, you know, those who still maintain they are not gay but wield handbags.
Danny K gave us a smashing performance, leaving the crowd begging for more. I wondered if Lee-Ann, his ex, wasn't kicking herself for leaving him.
Spotted Lucas Radebe wandering around like a lost soul, and not even one fan screaming. I wonder where his number one fan, Thami Ngubeni, was.
Another odd couple who looked lost were singer Thabo Mdluli and his other half Nhlanhla. Guys try to go out more and get used to people.
Former American restaurant hostess Zuraida Jardine and her equally hot hubby Josh, were the hottest couple.
Zuraida's body is really hot for someone who has just given birth. Wow!
