FIFA president Sepp Blatter will visit Polokwane, Nelspruit and Port Elizabeth on Saturday to inspect World Cup venues.

After touching down at OR Tambo International Airport tomorrow, Blatter will have a series of meetings with government and soccer leaders.

The aim of the meetings is to assess all the World Cup projects to ensure that South Africa delivers on its promise of a successful tournament.

The stadiums are Peter Mokaba (Polokwane), Mbombela (Nelspruit) and Nelson Mandela Bay (Port Elizabeth).

The visit comes after Fifa expressed concerns about the poor sales of tickets in the three cities, despite them hosting big games featuring top teams such as Argentina, England and Ivory Coast.
