HOW I wish our youths were like those of yesteryear, who joined the ANC Youth League with the main purpose of adding value to society and uplifting their communities.
But the modern youth are joining the party with the sole purpose of lining their own pockets and blinging themselves.
I am not surprised by the disruptions and baying for blood that goes on at youth league conferences.
Our youths have lost touch with reality because their role models are youth leaders who are only interested in tenders and big cars. They just want to board the gravy train.
You will never ever hear them discussing issues that affect the youth, like education and unemployment.
