Reality has nothing to do with xenophobia

PRESIDENT Jacob Zuma was dead right about conditions in informal settlements in his address to the president's coordinating council.

He also hit the nail on the head with regard to foreign nationals acquiring houses fraudulently.

It is shocking that many locals have been on the housing waiting list for more than 10 years while foreign nationals were allocated houses within six months of arriving in the country.

It is unfortunate that when one queries this, people shout xenophobia. Foreign nationals have upset the applecart in jobs, health services and housing. Even most flats in the cities are occupied by them. South Africa has recently become a country without borders.

I challenge anybody to disprove this . Away with xenophobic obsession. Facts speak for themselves.
