THE Join the Voice Behind Bafana Bafana Campaign is in its fifth week and more people are on board.

The campaign is a partnership between leading media company Avusa and telecoms company Vodacom.

It is aimed at getting messages of support for the team from South Africans. The aim is to collect a million SMSes . The SMSes are printed in the Avusa daily newspapers, Sowetan, The Times, The Herald and the Daily Dispatch on Friday and on Sunday in the Sunday Times and Sunday World.

This week, National Prosecuting Authority boss Menzi Simelane said: "Go Bafana Bafana go! The moment of truth has arrived. The big event is finally here, after many moons of joyful anticipation. We know you will make South Africa proud. The NPA wishes our national team all the best in its endeavour to bring glory and honour to our country. Shine, Bafana Bafana, shine!"

YFM's Mpho Maboi said: "The boys should keep the cup in Mzansi. Good luck."

Tshepo Maseko, best known for his role as Parsons Matabane in the soapie, Isidingo, said: "Good luck and do it like you'll never do it again."
