NEW Free State Stars coach Sunday Marimo Chidzambwa starts his job by conducting trials at Charles Mopeli Stadium in Namahadi, QwaQwa, today.

Stars administrator Abel Mthimkulu said the former Zimbabwe international and national coach will be assisted by Themba Sithole.

"New players will be signed to beef up the team for the new season. We invite players between 17 and 27 to attend the trials," he said.

"Everybody must bring along their own playing kit and food. They must also organise their own accommodation."

Mthimkhulu said the trials will continue at Rosendal Stadium on Saturday, proceed to Vrede Sports Ground on May 25, Zomba Stadium in Frankfort on May 26 and Bohlokong Stadium the next day.

Chidzambwa, who will earn R120000 a month at Ea Lla Koto, was recruited by Stars chairperson Mike Mokoena last month.

"Sunday has massive international experience. We are excited to have recruited him," Mokoena said. "We have always done well with coaches from Zimbabwe."
