Bloemfontein Celtic and Maritzburg United are also said to be queueing at Rollers' offices in Gaborone for the side's players.
The targeted players are Zimbabwean forward Terrence "The Terrorist" Mandaza, his compatriot, central defender Itayi Gwandu, as well as wingers Edwin Moalusi and Joel Mogorosi from Botswana.
Bucs officials were in Gaborone at the weekend to assess the players in the Coca-Cola Cup final.
Rollers won the Cup with a resounding 3-0 win over Motshudi Centre Chiefs.
Mandaza, who looks set to wear the famous black and white jersey of Pirates in the new season, scored a brace with the other goal coming from Moalusi.
The latter was a member of Pirates' development programme in 2007.
"The Terrorist scored 42 goals for Rollers this season," said a source in Botswana. "AmaZulu's assistant coach Calvin (Petersen), Maritzburg United coach Ernst Middendorp and Celtic officials were also here."
Moalusi is not the only Rollers player who had a stint with Pirates. Mogorosi was signed by the club two seasons ago but went home.
Other Botswana players doing well in the Premiership include Mogogi Gabonamong at Santos and Dipsy Selolwane, who recently joined SuperSport from Ajax CT.
