The Mthatha West Residents Association (MWRA) claims Zwelandile Yolelo, chairperson of agricultural project Tracoc, has stolen money and furniture from the project.
Chairperson of MWRA, Nomzamo Sokhanyile, claims Yolelo booted them from the project before he looted from it.
The community took over Tracoc from a prince in the area in 2004.
"The place had all the resources the community needed to develop itself, starting from a dining hall, conference halls, houses for poultry and heaps of fertilisers," Sokhanyile said
She said they had leased out the conference hall at R20000 a month, but Yolelo allegedly wanted to keep the money instead of depositing it in the bank.
When contacted, Yolelo refused to comment, say ing that the association (MWRA) had taken him to court over the matter.
