GREYTOWN businessman Mohamed Sayed who was shot three times in his bed managed to fatally wound one of his attackers before he died, the Pietermaritzburg high court heard yesterday.

GREYTOWN businessman Mohamed Sayed who was shot three times in his bed managed to fatally wound one of his attackers before he died, the Pietermaritzburg high court heard yesterday.

Four alleged gang members charged with Sayed's murder and robbery are also charged with the murder of their former gang member Mandla Majoli, who was shot and killed by Sayed.

Gang members took him to Addington Hospital in Durban where he died.

The accused are Mondli Zuma, Sifiso Mazibuko and Simphiwe Cebekhulu all of the Pinetown district, and Thokozani Mzila of Kranskop.

The case is set down for the rest of the week. - Sapa
