Portsmouth's Mokoena is hoping to win his second gold medal in Europe after winning the Amstel Cup in 2001 with Holland giants Ajax Amsterdam.
During the 2010 Fifa World Cup, Mokoena will lead host team Bafana Bafana, while Drogba will captain the Elephants of Ivory Coast.
Chelsea are still on cloud nine after clinching the English Premiership in style by hammering Wigan 8-0 on Sunday, with Drogba scoring a hat-trick.
This will be the experienced Mokoena's last match for debt-crippled Pompey after the side were relegated to the Championship.
Speaking to Sowetan from London yesterday, Mokoena said: "I feel great, it is a great honour for us to be in the final despite the challenges we have been facing at the club. The situation that the club finds itself in is beyond us as the players but we are focused on the final and the aim is to end the season with a win.
"Chelsea are on song, they are still celebrating winning the league and they also have Drogba, who is in terrific form.
"I'm ready for this match and I will give 110percent effort and contribute to the success of my club. It is good that we are going into this match as underdogs but we are more than ready for Chelsea," said Mokoena, who has played 99 matches for Bafana.
On his future plans, Mokoena said: "The focus is on the final - it is one of the most important clashes of my soccer career.
"I will start thinking about my next move after the World Cup."
