A TOMBSTONE will be unveiled on Saturday in memory of Pan Africanist Congress stalwart Peter Nkutsweu Raboroko.

Raboroko left the ANC with Robert Sobukwe and others in 1959 to form the PAC. After the Sharpeville massacre in 1960 he left the country to become the PAC's representative in Ghana. He also worked for the party in other African countries and returned to South Africa in 1992. He died in 2000.

A service will be held at St James' Anglican Church in Zone 3 Diepkloof, Soweto, from 7am. The procession will then leave for Avalon Cemetery at 9am.

After the unveiling, there will be refreshments at Diepkloof Hall in Zone 3. - Sowetan Reporter
