SWORN enemies Jason "Badman" Bedeman and Bongani "Sweet Pie" Dlamini will return to Emperors Palace on June 19 to finish what they started a fortnight ago.

SWORN enemies Jason "Badman" Bedeman and Bongani "Sweet Pie" Dlamini will return to Emperors Palace on June 19 to finish what they started a fortnight ago.

The two boxers almost tore each to pieces outside the ring, in front of startled onlookers.

Now they can do it inside the ropes.

The much-vaunted contest will be staged by Rodney Berman's Golden Gloves Promotions and looks set to attract boxing fans in abundance.

"This is a dream fight that everyone is looking for," said Berman, who described the foes as "wolverines".

"If you throw two hungry wolverines into a pit, you get a fiercely fought, protracted battle that simply has to have acolytes yelling from the rafters," Berman said yesterday.

Bedeman is trained by Manny Fernandez, while Dlamini is guided by Elias Tshabalala.

The blowout between SA light heavyweight champion Rupert "The Natural" van Aswegen and Isaac "Golden Boy" Chilemba is also on the bill, dubbed "Blockbuster".

Golden Gloves fight publicist Terry Pettifer said yesterday that the gladiators, whose skills are honed by Harold Volbrecht and Tshabalala respectively, will fight for the vacant WBC International title. "It's a potential jaw-dropper," Pettifer said.

Chilemba also has another big date with WBA Pan African super middleweight champion Thomas "Tommy Gun" Oosthuizen later this year.
