GHANA's coach Milovan Rajevac has included Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien in the provisional team of 29 for the World Cup.

GHANA's coach Milovan Rajevac has included Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien in the provisional team of 29 for the World Cup.

Also included is Kevin-Prince Boateng, who is still awaiting the formalisation of his nationality switch from Germany after turning out for them at youth level.

Essien is recuperating from a knee injury.
